1422 0 45 days, sometimes even later - See below Payment received: yes (Many thousands of euros). (Will work for again: Yes) I worked for them when they were part of Logos and after they split from them. They used to deal with Payments etc. from LNE Syacom which is now Siliamid, which does not have a good reputation. Initially, Payments were like clockwork but just recently they have had to be reminded. I don't work for them so much now because my rates are too high for them. [Mod. note] Not rated, because of the absence of dates/delays, etc. Annette Hennessy Baltonsborough, UK annettehennessy.transllations@virgin.net No liability will be accepted by the moderator of the list for the opinions expressed in the messages posted through the Payment Practices mailing list by its subscribers. 1421 9 60 days - NO. Between 1 and 6 months late. Payment received: YES (several thousand Euro). (Will work for again: No) Competent and nice managers, at the time (this was before they became part of Logos and then were dumped again). Horrible acoonting department. Always a problem. Very unpleasant too. 5/19/2009
1420 0 60 days - NO. Between 1 and 6 months late. Payment received: as agreed (several thousand Euro). (Will work for again: No) Competent and nice managers, at the time (this was before they became part of Logos and then were dumped again). Horrible acoonting department. Always a problem. Very unpleasant too. 5/18/2009
1419 2 30 days end of month I think - Usually on time Payment received: Very much so! (Many thousands of euros). (Will work for again: Yes, I work for them regularly.) Recently their Payments have been a little erratic but normally a phone call sorts it out. They used to be part of Logos and then they joined forces with LNE Syacom - another ex Logos company - but they are now independent. 8/22/2007
1418 2 60 days from invoice #NAME? - It always used to be but they have not been so reliable lately. Payment received: YES (Many thousands of euros.). (Will work for again: Yes.) They were once part of Logos. Then, when LNE Syacom left Logos, they left too and joined forces. They eventually split from LNE Syacom and are now independent. As I said, the last Payment was not on time but I hope that that was just an anomaly and that things will be OK from now on. 9/19/2009
1417 6 60 days end of month (theirs not mine) - Normally yes, but it is rather a long wait. Payment received: yes, most of the times (Many thousands of euros.). (Will work for again: Yes.) They used to be part of Logos and then broke away from them (or were pushed, I don't know) and joined forces with LNE Syacom. (There is a great deal about them in the archives). They are now independent again. They don't seem to be as efficient with their Payments as they used to but having said that the last two Payments have been on time and so perhaps they are improving. It is rather a long timescale to wait though. 8/16/2009
1416 10 30 end of month but they usually pay early - yes early Payment received: yes (aroun L 300). (Will work for again: Still working for them on a daily basis ) Zeljko and Ana are very professional and very friendly 9/8/2008
1415 10 net 60 - Yes Payment received: YES, mostly, but not always (after 2 months in one case) (US $1,200). (Will work for again: Yes ) Per-word pay rate was not fantastic, but they were fairly large projects and the agency (Charles Chaouat) was straightforward, easy to deal with, and did not come back with any revisions. Payment was by wire transfer and actually arrived a day early. At that time they required you to send a hand-signed invoice by postal mail, so you might want to ask about this if they don't mention it. 9/23/2011
