984 10 60 days after receipt of invoice. - No. A check for the March invoice was received on August 30, a check for the May invoice was received on September 19, the November invoice is not due yet but its receipt is not acknowledged up to now. Payment received: NO (USD 331.55 ). (Will work for again: I did.) NEW COMMENTS: My November 2004 invoice of $76 has finally been paid, although not without trouble. Reminders remained unanswered or were answered a week or more later. A lot of e-mails were exchanged to explain that their invoicing and accounting system was changed (of which I was not informed) and that this might account for the delayed Payment. It then took again numerous e-mails to get things sorted out (they asked me time and again to send the invoice and jobs details), which was experienced by me as some sort of delayment strategy. At last, the amount due was paid, although as two seperate checks (so I had two pay two bank fees). One check arrived on March 25, 2005 (almost three months overdue) and the second one on April, 29, 2005 (four months ovedue), both without any apologies. Both checks were cleared by my bank, the last one today.I have now decided not to work for this company any more and have informed them accordingly. 7/3/2009 0:00
983 10 net 90 - Never on time (one year late) Payment received: yes (about 200 US dollars). (Will work for again: No) Bjorn is very kind and friendly, but Global Arena company (aka Inlingua) seems to be very disorganized, at least when dealing with Payments due to the translators. 10/4/2011
982 10 60 days after receipt of invoice. - No. A check for the March invoice was received on August 30, a check for the May invoice was received on September 19. Both checks were cleared by my bank this week. Payment received: YES (USD 255.55). (Will work for again: Yes, if .... (see comment).) They mentioned cash flow problems way back in March, problems that may be or may not be solved by now, but it took them long time, raising questions about their management quality. But since they paid in the end, I'll work for them again, but if they ask me for a job they'll have to convince me beforehand that their cash flow problems are definitely over. 7/5/2009
981 10 60 days after receipt of invoice. - No. A check for the March invoice was received on August 30, a check for the May invoice was received on September 19, the November invoice is not due yet but its receipt is not acknowledged up to now. Payment received: YES (USD 331.55). (Will work for again: I did.) I have declined jobs while waiting for my money, but I have decided to give them another chance when they finally did pay and apologized for the delay. The amount of the November invoice is a mere USD 76, so I can take a little risk here:) [Mod. note: Hearsay info deleted] (check the archive please), so I'll keep you posted about my adventures with Global Arena. 7/4/2009
