This check bounced, however, on June 30. I notified the company e-mail, fax, and postal mail on July 5. I have received an e-mail response to date only from the original project manager saying politely that she would have the accounting department look into the matter. No response to date from an accounting person or from phone message left. 6/13/2008

(Will work for again: Probably Not) UPDATE I received a second check for the bounced one within 5 days of notifying the agency (sent FedEx, in fact). This second check also covered my bank fees incurred for the bounced check, and a vice president for the company left a nice apology message on my answering machine. I immediately emailed the PM and within 5 minutes received a phone call from the VP of transllations which I worked with before as well, Stefan Huyghe. He assured me that this was just an accounting glitch. I do believe him full-heartedly. I never had any problems in the past with Communicaid and I will definitely work for them again. They issued a check this afternoon for all of my outstanding invoices, even the ones that are not due yet, and will FedEx for Monday delivery. Since of course I did not give out the name of this list, Stefan asked me to tell everybody, that if there is anybody else out there with Payment issues to contact him directly.
