473 10 as far as I was concerned I understood it to be (perhaps erroneously) 30 days - 2 to 3 weeks in terms of my understanding as per the above Payment received: Yes and No (first invoice was paid about 20 days late, but the second one was paid within 21 days) (GBP210). (Will work for again: possibly) [Mod. note: Not rated due to lack of clarity on AGREED Payment terms.] I chased the project manager for Payment and she came back advising me that their policy was to pay at 6 to 8 weeks. I then chased the accountant who advised me that their policy was to pay at 45 days. When I complained, I could get no joy as to receiving Payment at 30 days maximum and advised him that if they persisted with their policy I would simply charge more, at which point he intimated that this might militate against them choosing me as a service provider for future jobs. 12/12/2009

(Will work for again: Possibly) I REALISED THAT I DID CHASE THEM ON 9 NOV AFTER LOOKING THROUGH MY OLD EMAILS AGAIN. CHRISTINE OLDFIELD, THE PROJECT MANAGER, ASKED ME TO EMAIL TO SURESH KUMAR, WHO THEN REPLIED THAT THE CHEQUE WAS ON THE WAY. AND SURELY I GOT THE CHEQUE SOON AFTER. 12/20/2011
471 10 Net 30 days (mine), they did not specify theirs at the time - No. Received on August 5, 2006 Payment received: Always on time (USD 30.00). (Will work for again: No) [Mod. note: Rating still a 2 for terms of either net 30 or net 45.] This was a minimum fee job, which I delivered shortly after getting the go-ahead (within a couple of hours on the same day, at the end of April, I think). I invoiced on May 2. I checked on my Payment by e-mail in mid-June, and was informed that THEIR terms were net 45 business days, that the check would be mailed the first week of July. Not much I could do about it at that point. Well, by mid-July - no Payment. I e-mailed again, and was told by Sabrina that the check had gone out that week, as promised, just give it a few more days for possible postal delays. A few days later - still nothing. E-mailed Sabrina again, no reply. Tried again a few days later - nothing. On July 26 I called - Sabrina was supposedly on vacation. I talked to Yi Du in Accounting. She acknowledged I had not been paid yet, but since the check had to be signed by two persons and she was by herself, she couldn't do it that day, it would go out t 7/22/2011
